Shannon P. Smith is an American, photo-based artist, currently pursuing her MFA in Studio Art at the University of Arkansas. She considers the ephemeral nature of time while weaving narratives of introspection and nostalgia through her art. Smith recently developed a deep passion for woodworking, finding herself drawn to crafting unique, yet practical vessels.
Shannon was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and previously worked as a Live Television Script Supervisor in Los Angeles, California.
